UI Files Monthly Switch Reports to Alternative Suppliers
Pursuant to the Authority’s directives, The United Illuminating Company files its monthly switches to Alternate Suppliers and Customer Count report for February 2026.
The reports also include switches to Alternative Residential, Commercial, Streetlighting, Enrollments and Cancel Rebill reports.

As background, in its November 22, 2006 letter issued in the captioned docket, the Public Utilities Regulatory Authority (PURA), stated: “Pursuant to General Statutes of Connecticut (Conn. Gen. Stat.) § 16-245x which requires the Department of Public Utility Control (Department), in consultation with The Office of Counsel (OCC), to monitor the state of competition in Connecticut, and to report its findings to the Legislature beginning January 1, 2002, and annually thereafter, the Department requests that The United Illuminating Company submit the information contained in the attached chart, on or before November 28, 2006, and monthly thereafter by the 20th of each month.
The Authority subsequently modified the requirements of this filing in its correspondence dated June 8 2009, November 20, 2014, July 5, 2018, December 19, 2018, October 26, 2022 and April 24, 2024.
