NYSERDA Posts Slides from Energy Efficiency Technical Conference
NYSERDA submitted the slides from the February 2, 2024, energy efficiency and building efficiency technical conference.
The conference provided information on NYSERDA’s LMI proposal for 2026-2030 ratepayer-funded EE/BE programs, a budget summary and key outcomes, and program proposals.
The NYPSC initiated this proceeding to (1) consider the development of a Clean Energy Fund; (2) ensure the continuity of clean energy programs in New York, and (3) enhance program efficiency and leverage, while also managing their transition from reliance on ratepayer surcharges to tariff and sustainable market-based clean energy activities.
The CEF was designed with four program portfolios that are administered by NYSERDA. The portfolios include Market Development; Innovation & Research; New York-Sun (NY-Sun); and the NY Green Bank (NYGB).
