NYSERDA Files Clean Energy Standard Annual Progress Report For The 2022

Re:  his proceeding was initially launched for the NYPSC to consider the implementation of a Large-Scale Renewable Program. As of 1/25/16, this proceeding now focuses on implementing a new Clean Energy Standard (CES).

NYSERDA filed its Clean Energy Standard Annual progress report for the 2022 compliance year  This report stated the progress toward New York State’s CES mandate as of 12/31/22, summarized aggregate load serving entity, compliance with RES and ZEC obligations, informed consumers, policymakers, and stakeholders on the characteristics of the New York’s electricity fuel mix; described outcomes of state programs, reported on the Build-Ready Program activity, and provided trends in key measures of the renewable energy market activity.

NYSERDA filed an update that the Offshore Wind Renewable Energy certificate purchase and sale agreements between NYSERDA and Empire Offshore Wind (2/2/24). Of note, the Empire Wind Phase 2 project (1,260 MW) and the Beacon Wind project (1,230 MW) have both been terminated.
