SFE Energy Files Petition For Approval Of Revision To Settlement Agreement

Dockets: 9690
Category: Uncategorized

  • From Petition:
  • The Settlement requires SFE to send letters to refund recipients within 30 days of Commission approval of the Settlement. In preparing the refund letters to the customers identified in Subset ii (the 719 ETF customers), SFE discovered that the correct number of customers is 402, not 719. This correction lowers the total dollar amount of refunds available to Subset ii customers from $142,800 to $75,389, a difference of $67,411. Upon learning of this mistake, SFE contacted Staff and OPC to discuss how to allocate the $67,411. The Settling Parties have agreed to increase the refunds available to the customers in Subset i (the 3,180 door-to-door customers). Under the Settlement, the Subset i customers would each receive a refund of $56.50. Adding the $67,411 to Subset i would increase that amount to $77.70 per customer. [ *** ]
  • WHEREFORE, the Settling Parties request that the Commission enter an order revising the Settlement by shifting $67,411 in refunds from Subset ii to Subset i, as described above, which will increase the refund for each Subset i customer from $56.50 to $77.70.
