DPU Approves National Grid’s Revised Proposed GMF

On January 22, 2024, the DPU issued stamp approval of National Grid’s revised proposed GMF.

On January 12, 2024 National Grid filed revised proposed GMF in response to Hearing Officers’ memo reflecting annual and term report filing dates of 7/1/24. 

On January 10, 2024 Hearing Officers issued a memo regarding grid modernization annual and term report filing deadlines.

As background, Petition of National Grid for approval of its grid modernization plan for 2022-2025. National Grid’s plan is designed to make measurable progress towards the achievement of the three objectives for grid modernization: (1) optimize system performance by attaining optimal levels of grid visibility, command and control, and self-healing; (2) optimize system demand by facilitating consumer price responsiveness; and (3) interconnect and integrate distributed energy resources. The GMP builds on the 2018-2021 GMP and includes a five-year strategic plan and a general investment plan.
