DPU Approves Unitil’s Revised Proposed GMF
On January 19, 2024 Unitil filed in response to Hearing Officers’ memo reflecting annual and term report filing dates of 7/1/24 revised proposed GMF .
On January 10, 2024, Hearing Officers issued memo regarding grid modernization annual and term report filing deadlines.
As background, Petition of Unitil for approval of its grid modernization plan for 2022-2025, including (1) a five-year strategic plan, including a plan for the full deployment of advanced metering functionality; (2) a four-year short-term investment plan; and (3) a composite business case in support of both short-term investment plans. Areas for investments and new projects include:
- Advanced Distribution Management System (“ADMS”);
- Communications;
- Monitoring and Control;
- Volt VAR Optimization;
- Distributed Energy Management System; and
- FERC Order 2222.
