Parties File Proposed Settlement Increasing Utility’s DCRF Rates Charged to REPs
Parties file a Stipulation and Settlement Agreement proposing to increase CenterPoint’s Distribution Cost Recovery Factor (DCRF) rates charged to Retail Electric Providers or REPs.
The parties to this stipulation and settlement agreement (Stipulation) are CenterPoint Energy Houston Electric, LLC (CenterPoint Houston), the Staff of the Public Utility Commission of Texas (Commission), the City of Houston, Texas Coast Utilities Coalition, Gulf Coast Coalition of Cities, and the Office of Public Utility Counsel. Texas Industrial Energy Consumers is unopposed to the Stipulation.
Proposed DCRF Effective For Scheduled Meter Read Dates On And After June 1, 2026

Secondary Service Less Than or $ 0.004508 per kWh
Equal to 10 kVA
Secondary Service Greater Than $ 0.796213 per Billing kVA

Transmission Service $ 0.009819 per 4CP kVA
Lighting Services $ 0.084803 per kWh
