Reminder: NYSERDA Launches Retail Energy Storage Portal

NYSERDA launched NYC Retail Energy Storage Block 10, offering 100 MW / 400 MWh at $75/kWh. Applications are first-come, first-served through the NYSERDA Portal until funds are fully subscribed.

As reported previously on related matter, on April 24, NYSERDA announced a new competitive solicitation to procure renewable energy certificates from land-based wind, hydroelectric, and solar projects. Eligibility applications are due by May 19, 2026, followed by non-price bid proposals due by June 25, 2026. Then, bid price submissions are due by July 30 2026 with conditional award notifications expected by by October 2026, and final project selections announced after contract execution.
