IPA Issues Request for Comment and Publishes Recording of Long-Term Clean Energy Procurement Framework Workshop

The Illinois Power Agency (IPA) has launched a stakeholder process to develop a long-term clean energy procurement framework as directed under the P.A. 104-0458, Section 16-111.5.

This process will support the development of a procurement framework for future Electricity Procurement Plans, informed by the ongoing Resource Adequacy Mitigation Plan and Integrated Resource Planning process.

As part of this process, the IPA has released two public requests for stakeholder feedback. Responses to the first request have been posted on the IPA’s Stakeholder Engagement page. Details for the second Request for Comments are provided below:

The Agency encourages stakeholders to provide detailed responses to the questions, including links or reference materials where appropriate in response to the questions. Responses will be posted to the IPA website.
