Electric Utilities Seek Metering Procurement Improvements

In Connecticut on June 1st the joint utilities filed a joint framework for metering procurement and communication improvements for PURA review and approval.

Previously, on May 27, 2026 PURA convened a technical conference that included presentations from the joint electric utilities on the Statewide or Pilot Flexible Interconnection Program (“Flex IX”), eligibility requirements, curtailment approach, long-term electric distribution company planning, implementation timelines, cost recovery, data access, and the Flex IX proposed framework, as well as a presentation from GridEdge Networks.
