Arcadia Provides Comments on Draft Utility Data Access Rule
Arcadia proposed comments on draft utility data access rule include:
“Notwithstanding any other law, anonymized, aggregated
usage data from multiple customer accounts shall not be deemed
customer utility usage information, personally identifiable
information, or confidential information and shall not be
subject to protections for customer utility usage information,
personally identifiable information, or confidential
information.”
The DAWG webpage has been updated with the recording and materials from the June 18 meeting.
The next meeting is scheduled for July 9 at 1:00 pm. The sole purpose is to discuss the draft rule implementing the Utility Data Access Act.
The first draft prepared by RAP draws from and incorporates much of the detail spelled out in the law. Information in brackets and highlighted are areas where the law contemplates Commission additions in a rule.
Interested parties are encouraged to review the draft rule prior to July 9 and:
identify areas the work group should discuss in more detail
identify areas where experts or external research should be requested
identify areas of synergy with other dockets or other efforts that could be utilized here.
The next meeting is scheduled for July 23 at 1 pm to (a) continue the Utility Data Access Act rule discussion and (b) to discuss any other Data Access Working Group topics.
