Short Description: On August 18, 2025, AEP Texas Inc. filed a compliance filing to refund transition charges under schedule TC-3. The proposed TC-3 refund rates will be effective the first full billing cycle after receiving PUCT approval.

Long Description: AEP Texas Inc. filed a compliance filing to refund transition charges under schedule TC-3. AEP Texas proposes to refund $10,658,830 to customers within the service territory previously served by AEP TCC over an estimated two-month period beginning the first full billing cycle after receiving PUCT approval of the refund methodology proposed in its application. This filing for TC-3 refund only applies to the central division of AEP Texas. Rider TC-3 Refund will remain in effect until the aggregate amount has been refunded.
Additional Information: Effective date of the proposed refund TC-3 Rates is the first full billing cycle after receiving the final order in this proceeding. The proposed TC-3 refund rates are attached.
