FTM Storage Program Comments Filed & Workshops Held
PURA initiated a proceeding for the development of a Front of the Meter (FTM) storage program separate from the existing statewide storage program. Elements of this proceeding will include developing key FTM programmatic components, such as enrollment requirements and incentive structures.
On April 25th Technical Meeting #2 was held.
Prior to the workshop several parties filed comments, including UI, CT Green Bank, Clean Energy Trade Groups, and OCC.
Of note, Eversource stated in its comments that it “remains wary as to whether such goals can be achieved in light of legal limitations and economies of scale of DERs.”
Briefs are due by May 2, 2025.
