Pepco Files Letter Regarding Long Term Power Purchase Agreement

[ *** ] As stated in the letter filed in this docket on November 27, 2024, Potomac Electric Power Company (Pepco or the Company) has received bids to the long-term power purchase agreement filed by Pepco on April 11, 2024. Pepco has met with Commission Staff and the Commission’s independent evaluator and has set recurring, monthly meetings to update them on the progress of the bid evaluation and bid selection. In the most recent meeting, Pepco explained the status of contract negotiations. Pepco will continue to meet Commission Staff and the Commission’s independent evaluator and keep them apprised of the status of negotiations.
