PURA Files Procedural Order And Notice Of Hearing In Application Of Eversource Energy To Amend Its Rate Schedules

{***} “The Office of Consumer Counsel, the Commissioner of the Department of Energy and Environmental Protection (DEEP), and the Public Utility Regulatory Authority’s (Authority or PURA) Office of Education, Outreach, and Enforcement, as well as all Intervenors, may submit pre-filed testimony on or before Thursday, March 13, 2025, at 4:00 p.m. All Parties and Intervenors may submit rebuttal testimony on or before Friday, April 11, 2025, at 4:00 p.m., and surrebuttal testimony on or before Friday, April 28, 2025, at 4:00 p.m. Finally, all Parties and Intervenors have the opportunity to coordinate on a preferred witness panel order, which should be filed as correspondence in this proceeding no later than Monday, March 24, 2025, at 4:00 p.m.
NOTICE OF HEARINGS
Pursuant to General Statutes §§ 16-11, 16-19, 16-19b, 16-19e, 16-19bb, 16-19gg(b), as amended by § 6 of Public Act 23-102, An Act Strengthening Protections for Connecticut’s Consumers of Energy (Public Act 23-102), 16-19kk, 16-19oo, 16-19tt, as amended by § 1 of Public Act 23-102, 16-19yy, and 16-22, and other relevant and related statutes and Conn. Agencies Regs. §§ 16-1-53 et seq., the Authority will be conducting evidentiary hearings in this proceeding to review Yankee Gas Service Company d/b/a Eversource Energy’s (Company) application to amend its existing rate schedules.
The Authority will hold evidentiary hearings in this matter at its offices, Ten Franklin Square, New Britain, Connecticut, on the following dates:
Thursday, May 29, 2025, at 10:00 a.m.
Friday, May 30, 2025, at 10:00 a.m.
Monday, June 2, 2025, at 10:00 a.m.
Tuesday, June 3, 2025, at 10:00 a.m.
Wednesday, June 4, 2025, at 10:00 a.m.
Thursday, June 5, 2025, at 10:00 a.m.
Friday, June 6, 2025, at 10:00 a.m.
Monday, June 9, 2025, at 10:00 a.m.
Tuesday, June 10, 2025, at 10:00 a.m.
Wednesday, June 11, 2025, at 10:00 a.m
The Authority may continue the hearing on additional dates as deemed necessary.
While members of the public may continue to submit written comments in this proceeding, such comments may not be reflected in the Authority’s preparations for the above-referenced evidentiary hearings if received after Friday, April 11, 2025. Also, please be advised that comments received after the close of the evidentiary record, i.e., Friday, June 27, 2025, cannot be relied on for decision-making purposes. The Authority will maintain an electronic file of any written communications so accepted, in the offices of the Executive Secretary. The files may be reviewed using the electronic portal accessible by the public on the Authority’s website at http://www.ct.gov/pura, by searching the correspondence files for Docket Number 24-12-01.
