Approved Documentation On Net Metering Tariff Provision Updates
Massachusetts Department of Utilities (DPU) filed updated net metering provisions:
“The following tariff provisions shall be applicable to a Host Customer, as defined herein, that requests Net Metering services from the Distribution Company, with the exception of a Host Customer that is an electric company, generation company, aggregator, supplier, energy marketer, or energy broker, as those terms are used in M.G.L. c. 164, §§ 1 and 1F and 220 C.M.R. 11.00.”
Among other things, this document outlines definitions, the administration of net metering credits and the net metering recovery surcharge.
