  • Eight transportation organizations, representing New Jersey, New York, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New Mexico Colorado, Oregon and Washington, asked the governors to delay implementation of Advanced Clean Trucks rules, which are set to take effect at the beginning of 2025 and 2027.  On December 12, 2025, the Assembly Transportation and Independent Authorities Committee approved a bill (A-4967) that would delay implementation of the Advanced Clean Trucks rules to January 1, 2027.  An identical bill (S-3817) is being considered by the Senate Environment and Energy Committee.
