IPA Seeks Public Comment on Draft 2026 Long-Term Plan

The IPA’s draft 2026 Long-Term Renewable Resources Procurement Plan (draft 2026 Long-Term Plan), released on August 15, details the goals and strategies for the IPA’s renewable energy programs and procurements, including program capacity and renewable energy credit pricing for the Illinois Shines and ILSFA solar incentive programs. The draft 2026 Long-Term Plan covers proposed renewable energy procurement and programmatic activities over the 2026-27 and 2027-28 program years. The IPA welcomes public comments on the draft 2026 Long-Term Plan. Written comments are due on Monday, September 29.The Agency will also hold a virtual public hearing for the draft 2026 Long-Term Plan on Thursday, September 25.
