Short Description: In Docket No. 56165, AEP Texas was authorized to recover Commission approved rate case expenses associated with PUCT Docket No. 56165 and deferred approved rate case expenses from Docket Nos. 51984, 53267, 53451, 54824, 55187, and 55820. AEP Texas ceased billing Rider RCE – 6.1.1.4.10 effective on September 22, 2025.
Intended Audience: All Market Participants
Long Description: Rider RCE was designed to recover Commission approved rate case expenses associated with PUCT Docket No. 56165 and deferred approved rate case expenses from Docket Nos. 51984, 53267, 53451, 54824, 55187, and 55820. Rider RCE was in effect for one year from the effective date or until rate case expenses were fully recovered for each class listed in Schedule RCE at which time the factor will terminate in the billing month in which the full approved amount of rate case expenses for each class has been billed. AEP Texas determined that recovery through this rider was no longer necessary. Rider RCE remained in effect through cycle 16 of the September billing month. Rider RCE rates were set to zero effective September 22, 2025.
