Commission Files Notice Of Hearing And Opportunity To Comment In Limited Income Mechanisms for Utility Customers

[ *** ] On October 1, 2025, the Maryland PC 59 Work Group Leader filed its Report on Proposed Limited Income Mechanism for Utility Customers in accordance with the Commission’s Order Initiating Work Group2 in the above-mentioned matter.
The Commission hereby invites interested stakeholders to file comments on the matter by October 24, 2025. Comments should be addressed to Andrew S. Johnston, Executive Secretary, Maryland Public Service Commission, William Donald Schaefer Tower, 6 St. Paul Street, 16th Floor, Baltimore, Maryland, 21202 and reference “PC 59” in the subject line.
The Commission further gives notice that it will conduct an in-person only, legislative-style hearing to review comments filed by parties on Wednesday, October 29, 2025, beginning 10 minutes after the conclusion of the Administrative Meeting, in the Frank O. Heintz Hearing Room, William Donald Schaefer Tower, 6 St. Paul Street, 16th Floor, Baltimore, Maryland 21202.
