Final Proposals For Procurement of BGS Filed
The New Jersey Board of Public Utilities (BPU) held an information webcast for potential bidders tentatively scheduled for October 17, 2025. Note that an additional webcast tentatively scheduled for December 2, 2025.
Previously, on October 7th, bidder information webcast was held.
Subsequently on October 9, the auction manager announced letters of credit and application postings.

Proposed letters of credit modifications due by 12:00 noon ET on October 28, 2025, and final illustrative Part 2 application forms are scheduled to be posted on November 20, 2025.

Proposed modifications to standard form of the pre- and post-auction letters of credit due by October 28, 2025; individual responses expected by November 5, 2025; all acceptable optional modifications scheduled to be posted on November 7, 2025, as well as final credit instruments scheduled to be posted.
Load caps, tranche sizes, and minimum and maximum starting prices scheduled to be announced on November 14, 2025.
BPU decision on auction proposal expected in November 25th. EDC compliance filings expected to be due December 25th along with BPU decision on compliance filings and final supplier master agreements and rules expected to be posted.
Online application portal expected to be available to bidders by 12/2/25; part 1 applications due by 12:00 p.m., noon, ET on 12/16/25; notification of part 1 application results expected by 12/19/25; part 2 applications due by 12:00 p.m., noon, on 1/14/26; notification of part 2 application results expected by 1/22/26; information webcast for registered bidders tentatively scheduled for 1/28/26.
Market-to-market information scheduled to be released January 27, 2026 with tranche fee scheduled to be announced January 28, 2026; final rate spreadsheets scheduled to be posted, and final seasonal factors announced scheduled to be posted on January 29, 2026.
