National Grid filed its East Pulaski Energy Storage System Wholesale Market Participation Annual report.
Note that this report is National Grid’s third annual report. The next report will be filed September 2026. The National Grid report will continue to share the best practices related to bidding the East Pulaski ESS into the wholesale market.
On September 30, 2025 NYSERDA filed its alternative approaches to 12+ hour energy storage in bulk program procurements report. NYSERDA and the DPS are conducting a technoeconomic study on clean firm resources such as long-duration energy storage. Now, NYSERDA is seeking stakeholder feedback on the potential design of an alternative procurement pathway for 12+ hour energy storage.
