PSC Approves Utility’s Rate Case Tariff Amendments On Permanent Basis

On October 21st the New York Public Service Commission PSC issued an  order approving ConEd’s tariff amendments on a permanent basis. 

As background, on December 2, 2024, Con Edison filed amendments to its electric and gas tariff schedules to implement the RY 3 terms as required in the 2023 Rate Order. The proposed tariff amendments became effective on January 1, 2025, on a temporary basis. The Appendix to this Order sets forth a list of the tariff amendments the Company has filed and the dates of newspaper publication.

On October 24th Con Edison filed its cost benefit analysis for the Jamaica non-wires solution project.
