Key Information

PECO has posted an updated file, “20251222ICAP.txt“, in each supplier’s individual reports folder on SUCCESS .

This file represents your current customer portfolio as of 12/22/2025. This file will be updated every Friday through May 2026 beginning next week.

This file list three (3) new pending values for Strata, NSPL, and PLC, effective as follows:

  • Strata values will change effective January 1, 2026
  • NSPL will change effective January 1, 2026
  • PLC will change effective June 1, 2026

Supporting documentation for the calculations is available on our website, please click the following link: Annual ICAP Process.  The documentation provided is as follows:

  • ICAP 2026 Load Summary – Summarizes the data and factors used to perform the PLC and NSPL calculations
  • PLC and TX Calculations as of 1-1-2026 – Explains PECO’s methodology along with a sample calculation for each of the meter types (i.e. – monthly, hourly and registered demand).
  • ICAP 2026 Counts – Shows by rate class/strata how the sum of the PLCs for all customers equals the PJM zonal PLC load target.
  • ICAP 2026 Default – Worksheet by rate class/strata showing default PLC & NSPL load values.
  • ICAP 2026 Weather Factors – Worksheet containing the weather correction factors for each of the PJM coincident peak days by rate class/strata for both registered demand and hourly-metered customers.
  • ICAP 2026 Formats – Format layout for the supplier-specific file “dateICAP.txt”.
