Commission Files Notice Of Hearing And Opportunity To Comment In SB 1: Accounts Receivable Related To Residential Electric And Gas Supply
The Maryland Commission requests comments filed by close of business December 9th with a hearing to be conducted on December 11th.

[ *** ] On November 20, 2024, the Retail Energy Supply Association (“RESA”), NRG Energy, Inc. (“NRG”), and CleanChoice Energy, Inc. (“CleanChoice”) (collectively, the “Supplier Coalition”), submitted to the Commission a request for clarification involving the implementation of Senate Bill 1 (“SB 1”).
The Commission hereby invites interested parties to file comments on the matter by close of business on Monday, December 9, 2024. Comments should be addressed to Andrew S. Johnston, Executive Secretary, 6 St. Paul Street, 16th floor, Maryland 21202, and reference “PC 65” in the subject line.
The Commission also gives notice that it will conduct an in-person only, legislative-style hearing on Wednesday, December 11, 2024, at the conclusion of the Commission’s Administrative Meeting, in the Frank O. Heintz Hearing Room of the William Donald Schaefer Tower, 6 St. Paul Street, 16th floor, Baltimore, Maryland. [ *** ]
