Commission Issues Order In Washington Gas Light’s Application For Approval Of New Gas System Strategic Infrastructure Development And Enhancement Plan And Accompanying Cost Recovery Mechanism
From District of Columbia’s PUC Order:
At the Commission’s Administrative Meeting held on October 30, 2024, the Commission heard arguments from Washington Gas Light Company, Office of People’s Counsel and Staff Counsel regarding WGL’s method of providing notification to customers regarding the customers’ right to electrify their gas service when informed that the Company intends to replace their gas service line.
Following argument, the Commission took this matter under advisement and hereby directs the parties to confer and further directs Staff to submit a status report to the Commission by Thursday, November 7, 2024.
