New Jersey Renewable Electric Happenings
At the New Jersey BPU September 13, 2024, was the deadline for TPS’s to review their GATS Load number in their “My RPS Compliance Report” on the PJM-EIS Generation Attribute Tracking System (GATS) website for consistency with their own EY2024 retail sales calculation, as part of the EY2024 RPS Retail Sales Adjustment process. BPU Staff announced a virtual Renewable Energy Stakeholder Meeting will be held on October 10, 2024. The agenda and a sign-up link for webinar are located on the here. The meeting will combine program updates and stakeholder engagement on solar and other renewable energy topics.
On September 23, 2024, RGGI participating states released a new modeling scenario of an additional regional cap trajectory for stakeholder review, as well as a call for comments on accommodating potential future participation by additional states. The full Third RGGI Program Review update is available here. Comments will be accepted through October 23 and can be submitted to info@rggi.org with the subject line “RGGI Program Review Comment.”
