Southern Maryland Electric Cooperative Files Request for Reconsideration Of Energy Perks Loyalty Program in 2024-2026 EmPOWER Maryland Program
From Request:
[ *** ] As permitted by the Commission in Order No. 91214, SMECO hereby renews its request to expand the reward options under the Energy Perks Program to include bill credits and Members Helping Members donations. In support of such a request, SMECO has attached as Exhibit A the evaluation, measurement, and verification (“EM&V”) methodology previously reviewed by the Evaluation Advisory Group (“EAG”) and aligned upon by the Commission’s independent evaluator, Loper Energy, which isolates the impact of the Energy Perks Program on the increased participation in SMECO’s overall EmPOWER Maryland program (the “Evaluation Plan”). As additional support of its request, SMECO also references its Energy Perks Pilot Program Final Report, which was filed with the Commission on June 30, 2023, under Mail Log No. 303835. This Final Report also includes details about the EM&V methodology for the Energy Perks Program. [ *** ]
