PURA Files Notice Of Technical Meeting In Investigation Into Medium And Heavy-Duty Electric Vehicle Charging

[ *** ] A Technical Meeting of Authority staff and Participants will be held via remote access on Tuesday, September 24, 2024, at 9:00 a.m.
The purpose of this technical meeting will be to discuss the responses to the Authority’s Request for Written Comments issued on August 12, 2024, and due on September 13, 2024.
The Authority directs the EDCs to jointly provide a presentation of a revised EDC program proposal that incorporates EDC, docket Participant, and stakeholder proposals included in the Written Comments due September 13, 2024. The presentation shall include, but is not limited to a discussion of EDC simulations for rate design scenarios, fleet eligibility, fleet assessment and advisory services, fleet inventory methodologies, colocation with renewable energy production and storage, cost containment measures, vehicle-to-grid (V2G) charging applications and incentives, and alignment with master planning.
The Authority further invites docket Participants and interested Stakeholders to provide presentations or otherwise discuss the responses from Written Comments due September 13, 2024.
All docket Participants and interested Stakeholders planning to present or otherwise provide comments orally must provide a list of speakers and an estimated time to present to the case coordinator at laura.lupoli@ct.gov, by 4:00 p.m. on Monday, September 16, 2024. The Authority will then issue a meeting agenda. All Stakeholders providing presentations must file their presentations through the Authority’s web filing system and provide a copy to the case coordinator by 4:00 p.m. on Friday, September 20, 2024.
The Technical Meeting will take place via remote access. Access instructions are set forth below.
