Parties File Comments in BG&E’s Application for Electric School Bus Pilot Program
Office of People’s Counsel (ML# 327309) and Maryland League of Conservative Voters and Sierra Club (ML# 327310) filed comments with the Maryland Public Service Commission regarding Baltimore Gas and Electric Company’s (“BGE”) application for an electric school bus pilot program.
In its comments, the Office of People’s Counsel states that BGE’s revised plan does not comply with the directives in Commission Order No. 91498. Also, BGE’s request to delay implementation of the plan for three years is a violation of PUA § 7-217. The Office of People’s Counsel recommends that the plan be rejected and allow BGE to file a revised plan within 30 days that complies with the Order.
The Maryland League of Conservative Voters and Sierra Club commented that they oppose BGE’s request to delay implementation of the plan. They also suggest that the Commission allow BGE to file a revised plan within thirty days.
