PURA Files Notice Of Proceeding In 2024 Clean And Renewable Energy Program Data And Report

The Public Utilities Regulatory Authority (Authority or PURA) initiated the above-captioned proceeding pursuant to the Final Decision dated February 23, 2022, in Docket No. 17-12-03RE09, PURA Investigation into Distribution System Planning of the Electric Distribution Companies – Clean and Renewable Energy Resource Analysis and Program Reviews (RE09 Final Decision). The RE09 Final Decision establishes an annual review process to provide centralized reporting on the state’s clean and renewable energy (CRE) programs. RE09 Final Decision, p. 7. More specifically, the purpose of the annual review is twofold: (1) to act as a centralized data-source for the status of CRE deployment in Connecticut, including cumulative deployment and other key data and metrics; and (2) to provide the administrative record for an annual report on the status of the state’s CRE programs.
