Technical Meeting Scheduled In Annual Non-Residential Renewable Energy Solutions Program Review – Year 4

[ *** ] The Authority will hold a Technical Meeting on Tuesday, July 30, 2024, starting at 10:00 a.m., via remote access. The Authority will use this Technical Meeting to receive information on the topics included in the Notice of Request for Written Comments issued on June 3, 2024, including: (1) implementation of legislative changes; and (2) price caps.
Additionally, the Authority directs the EDCs to provide a presentation on the NRES bids submitted for each year of the NRES program, including, but not limited to, a comparison of the number of overall bids, the bid prices in each project category, the number and percentage of bids submitted under the Netting and Buy-All tariffs, and the number and percentage of bids submitted under the Distressed Municipality, Landfill or Brownfield, and Solar Canopy or Carport bid preferences.
Moreover, the Authority invites stakeholders to present on any of the abovementioned topics. The Authority tentatively plans to structure the Technical Meeting as follows: (1) EDC presentation and questions; (2) topic-by-topic presentations and discussions; and (3) public comments. The Authority respectfully requests that stakeholders come prepared to present on each individual topic (i.e., not provide one presentation on all or multiple topics at once, but rather individual presentations for each topic) as this will allow for a robust discussion on each topic, which will result in a better understanding of the topic and any potential changes. The Authority will release an agenda ahead of the Technical Meeting.
All Participants planning to present or otherwise provide comments at the Technical Meeting must provide a list of speakers and an estimated time to present to the PURA case coordinator, Ussawin Bumpen, via email, Ussawin.Bumpen@ct.gov, by 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 23, 2024. The Authority will issue a draft agenda for the Technical Meeting. All Participants providing presentations must file their presentations through the Authority’s web filing system and provide a copy to the PURA case coordinator by 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 25, 2024.
