Pepco Files Response To Commission Orders Regarding Community Renewable Energy Facility Audit

Pursuant to Order Nos. 21600, 21952, and 21985, in Formal Case 1171 issued by the Public Service Commission for the District of Columbia (“Commission”), the Potomac Electric Power Company (“Pepco” or “Company”) was directed to conduct a reconciliation of all CREF credits issued starting from May 8, 2015, the date of the promulgation of the Commission’s CREF regulations through the date the Pepco meters ceased to be read at CREF locations. The Potomac Electric Power Company (“Pepco” or “Company”) was directed to submit summary spreadsheet or dataset summarizing (a), (h), (k), and (n), above for each CREF excluding monthly data. The summary sheet shall be filed with the Commission within 90 days of appointment of the Commission auditor.

The complete data set was submitted to Watson Rice, the Commission’s Auditor, on July 1, 2024. This file has 321 CREFs included in the reconciliation. Of the 321, 285 are from CREFs actual meters and 27 are based on the PJM/EIS data provided from the Commission. The remaining 9 did not have historical data. [ *** ]
