NY PSC Approves 6GW Energy Storage Roadmap

NYPSC issued an  order and press release on approval of New York’s 6GW energy storage roadmap.

The order states that the roadmap will “support a build-out of storage deployments estimated to reduce projected future statewide electric system costs by nearly $2 billion”. It will also procure an additional 4.7 gigawatts of new storage projects across the energy storage sectors in New York State.
