National Grid MA Residential Default Service Rate To Remain Above 16¢

For the period August 1, 2024 – January 31, 2025, National Grid’s residential fixed basic service rate will be 16.055¢ per kWh – approximately 12% lower than the current basic service rate of 18.213¢ per kWh.

These new Basic Service Administrative Cost Adjustment Factors (BSACFs), which have been approved to take effect August 1, 2024, and the currently effective Smart Grid Customer Cost Adjustment Factors (SGCCAFs).

National Grid’s newly filed basic service rates remain subject to DPU approval.
