ICC Initiates Show Cause Order Against MidAmerican Energy Services for Failure to File Reporting Requirements

In its Initiating Order the Illinois Commerce Commission adopts Staff’s recommendation against MidAmerican Energy Services, LLC for failure to comply with annual and quarterly filing requirements as outlined in Attachment A, Exhibit 24, appended to the Staff Report provides a sufficient basis to initiate such a proceeding.
Staff recommends the Commission impose a total penalty of $17,500.
Staff’s recommended penalty comprises penalties of the following amounts for failure to file:
- its Annual Compliance Certification due on April 30, 2024, $10,000; and
- its Call Center Information Report due on March 1, 2024, $7,500.
