ICC Initiates Show Cause Order Against Just Energy for Failure to File Compliance Reporting Requirements

In its Initiating Order the Commission adopts Staff’s recommendation against Just Energy Solutions Inc. for failure to comply with annual and quarterly filing requirements as outlined in Attachment A, Exhibit 30, appended to the Staff Report.
Staff recommends the Commission impose a total penalty of $10,000.
Staff’s recommended penalty comprises penalties of the following amounts for failure to file:
- its Call Center Information Report due on March 1, 2023, $7,500; and
- its Net Metering Report due on April 1, 2022, $2,500 for each year.
