PULJ Files Notice Of Settlement Hearing In Easton Utilities Commission’s Application For Authority To Increase Rates And Charges For Electric And Gas Service

On May 10, 2024, the parties represented that they had reached a settlement resolving all disputed issues, and the Evidentiary Hearings scheduled for May 13-14, 2024, were cancelled. On May 16, 2024, the parties filed a signed Settlement Agreement and Joint Motion For Approval Of Increase In Base Rates For Gas and Electric Service. The parties are directed to file testimony in support of the Settlement by May 24, 2024. An in-person hearing will be held on Thursday, May 30, 2024, at 10:00 a.m., during which the parties will offer into the record the certificates of publication, and all prefiled testimony and exhibits, with any corrections. Witnesses filing testimony in support of the Settlement shall be available to answer questions from bench.
