Commission Issues Order Adopting Proposed Final Rules Relating To The Creation Of A Competitive Market For Retail Electric Supply Service

[ *** ] the Commission hereby approves as final the attached for Certification and Regulation of Electric Suppliers, 26 Del. Admin. C. § 3001. A marked-up version of the Rules reflecting the amended sections is attached as Exhibit “A”. [ *** ]
That, pursuant to 29 Del. C. § 10118(g), the effective date of the proposed final regulation shall be the later of June 11, 2024, or ten (10) days after publication in the Delaware Register of Regulations. [ *** ]
Changes include: (1) removal of the sections on net energy metering and community energy facilities matters that are now being considered in dockets for Reg. 65 and Reg. 66 respectively; and (2) renumbering of current sections of 17.1 Proprietary Information and 17.2 Failure to comply with these Rules, to 15.1 and 15.2 respectively.
