Commissioner Beverly Issues Statement On Order Reviewing Clean Energy Act Implementation Working Group’s Report And Recommendations On Development Of Standardized Benefit-Cost Analysis Framework

Dockets: GD-2019-04-M
Category: Uncategorized

From Statement:

Order No. 21983 established the first step in the development of a standardized benefit cost framework for the Commission to use when evaluating utility proposals and gave direction on the issuance of a request for proposals (“RFP”). In paragraph 82 of the Order, the Commission stated: “The Commission will issue an RFP within 30 days of the date of this Order and retain a consultant to undertake the Scope of Work attached to this Order, which must be approved by the Commission prior to its release.” For the record, and in the interest of transparency, I had no role in either the decision to use a scope of work different from the one in the Order or in the decision to issue the RFP on April 3, 2024.
