ALJ Order Recommends Approving Gas Utility Purchased Gas Rates

On May 12, 2026 a Pennsylvania Administration Law Judge (ALJ) issued a  recommended decision  that the joint petition filed on April 17, 2026 be approved without modification regarding National Fuel Gas Distribution’s (NFGD’s) purchased gas rates.

The ALJ’s order recommends that the tariff rates be effective on August 1, 2026 would be set at  $6.3231 per Mcf.
