ALJ Recommends Approving Settlement Re: Utility’s Purchased Gas Costs

On June 24, 2026 an Administrative Law Judge issued a recommended decision that the Pennsylvania PUC approve, without modification, a settlement resolving Columbia Gas’ purchased gas cost proceeding.

The settlement if adopted by the PUC would permit Columbia to increase its gas cost rate from $0.57777 per therm to $0.62517 per therm, effective October 1, 2026.
