Annual Storage Deployment Report Released

The New York Department of Public Service published its annual energy storage deployment report. The report notes that at the end of March 2025 the total amount of energy storage projects in New York State was 1,403.2 MW in capacity, which consisted of

509.2 MW of deployed projects and 893.3 MW of contracted projects. This is slightly below the target of 1,500MW of new storage capacity by 2025 that the NYPSC had originally set as a goal.
