Baring Appeal, Utility’s Purchased Gas Cost Factor Order Becomes Final

On May 11 a Maryland Public Utilities Law Judge issued a proposed order (PO) authorizing WGL to: (1) bill an adjusted net ACA credit factor of $0.0305 per therm starting with the December 2025 billing cycle”; and (2) “utilize an FCA reconciliation credit factor of $0.0027 per therm for the 12- month period that began December 2025.”
This proposed order will become final, barring appeal, on June 11, 2026.
