In Matter No. 23-01227 (Registration for Energy Brokers and Energy Consultants), DPS continued issuing registration letters to brokers and consultants who have submitted registration packages.

The New York Supreme Court for the County of Albany has consolidated two separately filed appeals of the PSC’s broker registration and regulation order filed by Citizens Choice Energy, LLC and Diversegy, LLC, and the New York Retail Choice Coalition and M&R Energy Resources Corp. The court noted “common questions of law and fact” which would be more efficiently addressed on a consolidated basis.
