Christine Ochoa Named PSC’s Legislative Director

The Maryland Public Service Commission announces the appointment of Christina M. Ochoa as the agency’s Director of Legislative Affairs. Ms. Ochoa will be responsible for coordinating the Commission’s legislative activities in the Maryland General Assembly and will also serve as an Assistant General Counsel. 

Ms. Ochoa was most recently an Assistant Attorney General for the Maryland Judiciary and has extensive legal experience in Maryland as well as experience advocating in Annapolis on consumer protection issues. 

Her resume includes work as a staff attorney for Maryland Legal Aid and St. Ambrose Housing Aid Center. A resident of Baltimore City, Ms. Ochoa is a graduate of the University of South Carolina and received her law degree from the University of Baltimore School of Law. She is a member of the Maryland bar.
