ComEd and Ameren Smart Grid Modernization Plans Update

In ComEd case parties filed agree draft order on rehearing: (1) “ComEd’s rehearing revenue requirements and the resulting rates are uncontested”; and (2) ComEd’s revised 2024 rate base is $14,957,649.
- On March 26, 2024 the ALJ issued a notice of continuance.
- Parties filed testimony on rehearing (3/22–3/26/24).
- On March 21, 2024, Staff filed notice that ICC granted to reopen the consolidated proceedings on its own motion in the 3/21/24 conference. Of note, the recommending reopening said that Ameren requested reopening to consider its refiled plan, so “Out of an abundance of caution and to ensure the two dockets proceed similarly, the ALJs recommend that the Commission reopen this proceeding.”
