Maryland PSC Staff filed a draft “Application for License to Operate as a Distributed Energy Resource in the State of Maryland” for MDPSC consideration on January 16, 2025.
Comments on the proposed draft DER license application were due by February 20, 2025

{***} “Sunrun supports the recommendations made by the Solar Energy Industries Association (“SEIA”) in separate comments and focuses separately here on the following two recommendations to the Commission:
- Clarify that the obligation to submit an RPS Supplier Annual Report does not apply to DER aggregators that are not otherwise engaged in the competitive retail supply of electricity to consumers in Maryland; and
- Exempt publicly traded companies from duplicative financial reporting requirements to verify financial integrity.”
