Commission Files Notice Of Comment Period Regarding Pepco’s And Delmarva Power’s Report On Merger Commitments

On May 1, 2024, Potomac Electric Power Company (“Pepco”) and Delmarva Power & Light Company (“Delmarva Power”), (collectively, “the Companies”) filed with the Commission its 2024 report regarding merger commitments in compliance with the Commission’s January 25, 2024 Letter Order.
The Commission hereby directs its Technical Staff, and respectfully requests that the Maryland Office of People’s Counsel, Maryland Energy Administration, and any other interested persons to make a filing by July 1, 2024 stating that they have reviewed the compliance report, and indicating whether they agree that the corresponding conditions have been met, as well as any other observations regarding merger compliance that they deem appropriate.
All filings should be addressed to Andrew S. Johnston, Executive Secretary, Maryland Public Service Commission, William Donald Schaefer Tower, 6 St. Paul Street, 16th Floor, Baltimore, Maryland 21202, and reference “Case No. 9361” in the subject line. The Commission encourages the parties to use its “eFile” system to submit the electronic version of the filing. Details of the “eFile” system can be found on the Commission’s website, www.psc.state.md.us.
