Notice Of Hearing In Application Of Utility For PSC To Increase Existing Rates

[ *** ] On March 7, 2025, the Public Service Commission of the District of Columbia (Commission) provided notice of three community hearings to solicit community input on WGL’s Application.2 The community hearings are scheduled for: April 10, 2025, at Benning (Dorothy I. Height) Neighborhood Library, 3935 Benning Road, NE, Meeting Room 1, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.; April 21, 2025, at Petworth Neighborhood Library, 4200 Kansas Avenue, NW, Meeting Room 1, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.; and April 29, 2025, in the Commission Hearing Room at 1325 G Street, NW, Suite 800, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Through this Public Notice, the Commission provides instructions on virtual participation at the April 29, 2025, 6:00 p.m. community hearing held in the Commission Hearing Room. The Commission cannot accommodate virtual participation at the April 10, 2025, and April 21, 2025, community hearings. Those who have questions about testifying virtually at the April 29, 2025, community hearing should contact the Commission Secretary at psc-commissionsecretary@dc.gov or 202-626-5150. If an organization or an individual is unable to offer virtual comments or attend in person, written statements may be submitted via the Commission’s Comments Module, located at https://edocket.dcpsc.org/public/public_comments or through email at psccommissionsecretary@dc.gov.
WebEx will serve as the platform to access the FC1180 Community Hearing (Hearing) virtually.
The WebEx platform will be hosted by the Commission’s Office of the Commission Secretary (OCMS) – to allow OCMS to manage the participants’ access during the proceeding. The Commission strongly encourages virtual participants to join via computer, laptop, tablet, or mobile device with audio/video capabilities and reliable high-speed internet. Participants will also be able to access the hearing via telephone.

Hearing and Post Hearing
All participants must ensure audio remains muted until requested to testify by OCMS. OCMS will acknowledge/announce the participant using the name that appears onscreen. Once the participant has been recognized, OCMS will unmute the microphone. Individuals or organizations will be called to speak in the order they appear on screen. Should a participant not be present when called upon, the person will be passed, and the next participant will be called. After the list of virtual participants has been exhausted, OCMS will recall those participants previously passed. A transcript will be made available through eDocket within 72 hours of the conclusion of the hearing. [ *** ]
